Transform your life – achieve your goals
Life coaching can be transformational in helping people who feel stuck, burnt out and anxious about aspects of their lives. Although associated with career development and success, nowadays life coaching also addresses stress, unhealthy lifestyles, relationship difficulties, addictions, lack of self esteem, chronic pain, insomnia and more. Change is difficult. Some people read self-help guides, attend groups and seek expert advice to make small positive changes but then sadly relapse into old unhealthy patterns of behaviour and the cycle repeats again. A life coach is similar to a counsellor but there are differences. A life coach will help you identify and achieve your goals with practical positive strategies, supporting you through any painful aspects of the journey. You will be referred on to the appropriate mental health services if your issues are more severe.
I became a life coach as I am passionate about sharing the lessons I experienced on my journey with people who are struggling. I manage to successfully blend my skills as a nurse and counsellor and the therapeutic role of animals and outdoor life.
My formal qualifications: RGN/RMN, Bsc Health Studies, MSc Advanced Nurse Practitioner, PGCE Higher Education, Professional Life Coach and Guide*.
I also have passed Equine therapy theoretical component of The Horse Course* and am a full member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers*.
